By Craig Hubert | “If we’re meeting for the first time today on a train, would you start talking to me? Would you ask me to get off the train with you?” The trailer for Richard Linklater‘s “Before Midnight,” the third chapter in a series of films focusing on the relationship of Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy). Nine years after the two met in Paris (the basis of “Before Sunset”), they are now parents to twin girls, and their story continues as they spend the summer on a Greek island, walking the streets, arguing, eating dinner with friends, and watching the sunrise. Will they stay together? The film attracted rave reviews after its Sundance premiere, and will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival in April. The film opens in theaters on May 24th.
